10/03/2008 - 3rd @ Chilton
Jarred finished the season off strong, he placed 2nd in his heat race, putting him into the A-main on Saturday. He shot out to the lead of the feature, but a slow leaking right front tire slowed him down, allowing Frank Paul and Tom Brumlic to get by. Jarred finished the feature in 3rd place.
09/25/2008 - 3rd @ Hill Fall Classic
It's a good thing the special at Thunderhill was a 2 day event, because JVL ran into some tough luck on Friday night. He was running strong in the main event, but popped a tire which ended his night.
He came back the next day through the last chance race, and put together a great run from the back of the field, ending up with a 3rd place finish for the special.
09/01/2008 - 6th @ Lux, 2nd @ The Hill
Jarred put together a very good weekend, coming from the back of the field @ Luxemburg to pull in a 6th place finish.
On Saturday, Jarred got up to the front quickly and challenged for the lead, but was unable to reel in Dave DeGrave and would settle for the runner up spot on the night. Jarred also secured 2nd place in points with that finish.
08/25/2008 - Weekend Results
Jarred took the lead early on in the feature, but was passed by Scott Boulanger on a restart. He stayed close behind on the outside, but contact between Boulanger and Marcus Moede bunched the front of the field, and Jarred got the worst end. He would end the night behind the wall.
On Saturday, he used George Paul's hobby stock, as his was too damaged from the night before. He ran extremely well, fighting for the 2nd spot most of the race. He would end up with a 3rd place finish on the night, and remains in 3rd place in points @ both tracks.
08/17/2008 - Trouble @ Luxemburg
Jarred was running well in the feature at Luxemburg on Friday night, when he came out of turn #2 and popped a right rear tire. The race stayed green, and he was a lap down when he rejoined the field. He was still able to grab a 13th place finish in the feature.
08/10/2008 - 141 Speedway Results
Jarred took to the asphalt with his IMCA hobby stock, and looked pretty good in his heat race, coming from the final row to take 3rd place. In the feature however, he went for a spin in turn 3, and that dropped him back in the pack. He may have ended up with a 9th or 10th place finish.
08/09/2008 - JVL Wins @ Thunderhill!
Jarred took to the track on the Wednesday night special, running in a solid 3rd place in the feature, when Dave DeGrave was hit from behind by the 2nd place driver, opening the door for Jarred to take the lead and pick up his 1st feature win of 2008.
On Friday, Jarred continued his solid runs on the season, picking up another 5th place finish at Luxemburg.
08/04/2008 - Exciting Weekend
Jarred posted 2 more top 5 finishes on the weekend, taking 5th at Luxemburg, and then taking 4th place in a wild finish at Thunderhill.
Jarred lost control of his car while running 2nd, and was pushed across the finish line by Luke Lemmens to take 4th place.
07/27/2008 - Two More Top 5 Finishes
Jarred got into a little bit of a battle with Chris Christensen on Friday night, damaging his nose cone. After that, he drove the wheels off the car and netted a 4th place finish right behind Dave DeGrave.
On Saturday, he won his 2nd heat race of the season and also drove the car back to the front of the pack, taking home a 5th place finish at Thunderhill.

07/13/2008 - Top 5 @ Lux, Trouble @ The Hill
Jarred was able to get his car moving through the field @ Luxemburg, just barely edging out Frank Paul for 4th at the line. On Saturday, he ran into his 1st bad luck in a long time, clipping the burm and wrecking the front end of his car. Jarred ended the night on the hook, and lost his points lead in the process.
07/05/2008 - 5th & 6th @ BSS
JVL finally picked up his 1st heat race win of the season on Thursday night, and went on to battle his way to a 5th place finish in the feature event. He had to slam on the brakes to avoid a spinning Rob Waechter, Jr. in the process.
On Friday, Jarred missed the invert, so he had to start deep in the field. He would start 13th, and made a last ditch effort with 2 laps to go. He flew up from 10th to a 6th place finish on the last lap.
06/30/2008 - Two More Top 5's
He may not be getting the feature wins, but he's always right there. Jarred took home 5th place @ Luxemburg on Friday night, and then followed that up with a 2nd place finish Saturday @ Thunderhill.
With Dave DeGrave getting the black flag on Saturday, JVL jumped back into the points lead. He still sits in 3rd place in points @ Luxemburg.
06/16/2008 - Another Top 5 Finish @ Thunderhill
Jarred kept up his consistent finishes in the hobby stocks this past Saturday night. He had a great run from his 9th starting spot, placing the car in the top 5 toward the end. He challenged Frank Paul for the 3rd spot, but settled for 4th.
He is now all alone in the 2nd place points spot, 5 points behind Dave DeGrave.
06/02/2008 - 2 Top 5's on the Weekend
Jarred challenged eventual winner Scott Boulanger on Friday night for much of the race, trying desperately to get inside for the pass. Jarred would settle for 2nd on the night.
On Saturday @ Thunderhill, he came all the way from his last starting position to finish in 5th place.
05/26/2008 - Pair of 6th Place Finishes
Jarred put together another decent weekend, taking 6th place in both feature events @ Luxemburg and Thunderhill.
He is still in 1st place in points at Thunderhill, although now he is tied with Chad Kaminski & Jason LaViolette.
05/18/2008 - Weekend Results
Jarred put together a pretty good weekend this week, taking 9th in the feature @ Luxemburg, and then followed that up with a very strong 3rd place finish at Thunderhill.
The car showed a lot more power on Saturday night, Jarred was running the high side much of the feature.
05/11/2008 - Thunderhill Results
Jarred held the lead early in Saturday's feature at Thunderhill, but hit the giant hole in turn #2 which opened the door for Dave DeGrave to get underneath him. Brandon Peterson also slid by, and Jarred fell back into a 5th place finish on the evening.
05/10/2008 - Luxemburg Results
The hobby stock feature on Friday night involved a lot of beating and banging from just about everybody in the middle of the pack. Jarred was right in the thick of things, able to settle into the 7th spot for the night.
04/19/2008 - Opening Night @ The Burg

Jarred started on the pole for the Hobby Stock feature event at Luxemburg Speedway on Friday night. Dave DeGrave took the lead early, and Jarred was left to battle with the other top drivers in the division.
He held it in the top 5 as long as he could, but Marcus Moede & Tom Brumlic were able to get around near the end. Jarred settled for a 6th place finish for the night.
